Description

  1. Describe the metabolism of micronutrients and their important role in cellular function
  2. Evaluate hospitalized patients for multiple micronutrient deficiencies that may occur in seemingly well-nourished patients
  3. Detect micronutrient deficiencies on clinical grounds and to provide adequate supplementation without toxicity
  4. Articulate the concerns with copper in cholestatic infants and select the appropriate copper dosage
