Objectives:

  1. Critically appraise recent parenteral nutrition evidence in surgical, critically ill, and cancer patients
  2. Identify limitations to recent parenteral nutrition evidence
  3. Describe potential changes in patient care as a result of new parenteral nutrition evidence
  4. Identify gaps in parenteral nutrition evidence and list future parenteral nutrition research directions
