Goals and Target Audience: The PN safety training series is designed for dietitians, nurses, pharmacists, physicians and other healthcare professionals who are involved in the provision of PN to patients in all settings from the hospital to home. The training series is designed to educate healthcare professionals on safe PN practices to then empower those individuals to modify processes within their organizations.
Successful Completion Each enduring program in the four part series is accredited separately. To obtain credit for each enduring program, participants must listen to the recording in full, pass the post test with a score of 100% and complete an evaluation via the electronic CE system in A.S.P.E.N.’s eLearning Center, which is accessible from any internet connection at www.nutritioncare.org/elearning. Participants may log in using the email address and password on file with A.S.PE.N.
Please note, to receive the Certificate of Training in Parenteral Nutrition Safety, participants must successfully complete all four enduring programs and claim CE credits for each.
