Description

Objectives:

  1. Describe current methods for targeted and untargeted (discovery) metabolomics analysis in biosamples
  2. Define the potential pathophysiologic insight that metabolomics data has shown during pulmonary exacerbation/recovery in adults with cystic fibrosis and in cystic fibrosis-related diabetes
  3. Summarize results of metabolomics studies in adult critical illness and how these relate to infection and mortality and pathophysiology-related metabolomics data in tuberculosis.
