Kelly Green Corkins received her undergraduate degree in Clinical Dietetics from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro and completed a Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Food Systems Management at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C. Her career has included jobs in various sub-specialties of pediatrics in the inpatient, outpatient and home care settings and has taken her from the east coast to the west coast and now has her in the mid-south. She currently works as a Pediatric Clinical Dietitian III in the Neurology Unit at LeBonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN. Kelly has authored several reviews and book chapters on various topics in nutrition including infant formulas, enteral products, nutrition focused physical examination in pediatrics, pediatric nutrition assessment, and transitioning care. She is active in both the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, serving on and chairing national committees. In addition, Kelly is married to Mark Corkins, a pediatric gastroenterologist and nutrition support specialist. They enjoy presenting together, talking about nutrition topics, traveling, spending time with their 11 year old daughter and traveling to see their older 2 daughters.
