Regional Vice President, Morrison Healthcare, Cleveland, OH

Wendy is a regional vice president for Morrison Healthcare, being honored as Morrison’s RVP of the Year in 2020. She leads program development and implementation of population health efforts to address chronic disease and nutrition security in Northeast Ohio. This work has earned her and her team the 2021 Compass One in the Community Award for outstanding service to reduce food insecurity and improve health equity in her community. She has been a RDN for over 20 years and has worked for Morrison since 2009, holding clinical nutrition director roles prior to this current position. Wendy is Vice Chair of the Academy’s Nutrition Services Payment Committee, a member of the Pediatric Nutrition Practice Group’s Malnutrition Committee, and Vice Chair of ASPEN’s Malnutrition Committee. She is a previous Chair of the Academy’s Consumer Protection and Licensure Subcommittee. She holds leadership positions in local and state dietetic associations, and is an Assistant Editor for Future Dimensions for the CNM DPG and the Pediatric NCM.

Wendy has published over 50 peer reviewed journal articles and book chapters in the areas of malnutrition, nutrition support, outcomes research, productivity, order writing privileges, nutrition management of ADHD, and public policy. She frequently speaks on these topics at the local, state, and national level.
