Dr. Ryan Hurt is a Professor of Medicine and is the Program Director for the Home Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Program at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Hurt currently serves as the Vice-Chair and Research Chair for the Division of General Internal Medicine. Since 2019 he has served on the ASPEN Board of Directors and is the President-Elect. He previously served as the President of the Kentucky Chapter of ASPEN from 2016-to 2021. He is the Director of the Post COVID Care Clinical and Research Programs at Mayo Clinic Rochester. He has developed a clinical interest in nutrition, obesity, and addiction and most recently Long COVID, and has published over 150 peer-reviewed manuscripts and 14 book chapters in these areas.
