Dr. Martinez is an Assistant Professor of Anaesthesia at Harvard Medical School and Associate in Critical Care Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital. She completed her medical education at New York University School of Medicine and her Pediatric Residency and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital. As Faculty in the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital Dr. Martinez is developing a clinical translational research program focused on gastrointestinal dysfunction and enteral nutrition in pediatric critical illness. In addition to research, Dr. Martinez leads local multidisciplinary efforts to improve nutrition practice in the pediatric intensive care unit.
