Dr Ramel is an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota and a practicing Neonatologist at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital. Her research interests include preterm infant growth, nutrition and neurodevelopment and her specific focus is on optimizing linear growth and fat-free mass gains with the goal of improving long term neurodevelopmental and metabolic outcomes for very low birth weight preterm infants. She lives in MN with her husband, 3 children and St. Bernard who have kept her busy and entertained during the pandemic.
