As NBPNS Board Director and NBPNS President-Elect I oversea the annual revision, updating, and editing of the NBPNS Nutrition Board examination question bank. I serve as co-Chair of the Clinical Advisory Board (CAB) of the Global Enteral Device Suppliers Association (GEDSA) as one of the innovative pioneers in GEDSA’s mission for to improve patient safety conversion to ENFit®. I serve on the American Academy of Pediatrics’ (AAP’s) Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) Committee for Failure to Thrive (FTT); I serve on the Amerrican Board of Pediatrics (ABP) Pediatric Gastroenterology Practice Analysis Panel. I serve on the NASPGHAN Advocacy group for the White House Initiative and Conference on Hunger, Nutrition and Health, to end hunger and to increase healthy eating and physical activity by 2030. My areas of expertise include parenteral and enteral nutrition support for children with various nutritional disorders in various gastrointestinal conditions, undernutrition, with special focus on intestinal rehabilitation in short gut and intestinal failure and malabsorption.
