Terese Scollard is owner of MySurgeryPlate LLC, and retired regional clinical nutrition manager with a large health system in the Pacific Northwest.

Terese’s focus is adult disease-related malnutrition, surgical nutrition optimization and recovery, malnutrition informatics and documentation, nutrition-focused physical examination, and education for handgrip strength examination for malnutrition, sarcopenia and frailty. She served on the Malnutrition Work Group that created the 2012 Academy/ASPEN Consensus Characteristics of Adult Malnutrition. Terese is a member of the American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN) Malnutrition Committee. She is a Commissioner with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and is a recipient of a 2020 Excellence in Practice Award: Management, and a 2021 Medallion Award by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Her undergraduate was taken at Eastern Washington University, in Washington State; Internship in Dietetics at St. Mary’s Hospital and Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN, and Master of Business Administration at City University of Seattle.
