Elissa M. Downs MD, MPH
Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN
Elissa Downs is an Assistant Professor in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at the University of Minnesota. She completed her undergraduate degree at Cornell University and completed a Master’s degree in Public Health Nutrition and the remainder of her medical training at the University of Minnesota. She was honored to complete a clinical fellowship from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and to now be a part of their DIGEST, or Developing Innovative GastroEnterology Specialty Training, program. In addition to providing GI care for those with cystic fibrosis, she is also passionate about research and clinical care for those with other pancreatic diseases.
