Dr. DiPerna has been a physical therapist for 17 years practicing in the acute care and outpatient settings. She began her career at the University of Maryland Medical Center in 2005 and has been at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis since 2007. Christy has been a clinical cardiovascular and pulmonary specialist since 2013 and has focused her career on the treatment of patients with end stage heart and lung disease. She helped design and open the Center of Life for Thoracic Transplant where she has treated heart and lung transplant recipients since 2016. Dr. DiPerna also was part of a team to design and implement a lung transplant frailty assessment which has been in effect since 2016.
