After a fulfilling career as an educator, Christopher Sprinzyk returned to university to complete his didactic training in dietetics from San Francisco State University and a dietetic internship through Langara College in British Columbia, Canada. He practiced as a clinical dietitian at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC and Salem Hospital in Salem, OR before settling into his current role working with patients receiving home enteral nutrition and serving as the program lead for the home parenteral nutrition program with Kaiser Permanente Northwest in Portland, OR. He has been a certified nutrition support clinician since 2012. He is dedicated to bringing a compassionate and mindful approach to the care of patients receiving home nutrition support. He lives in Hood River, OR with his wife, daughter, and Magnus the one-eyed husky. On the weekends, he can often be found exploring the slopes of Mt Hood in all seasons.
