Ravi Mishra MBBS, MD, FAAP

Ravi Mishra, MD, FAAP, is a NICU Medical Director at Advocate Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, and has over twenty years of experience in various settings. He is a co-perinatal director with the perinatal network under the Illinois Department of Public Health. In addition, he is involved in different committees at his hospital and the Advocate Health system. He completed his medical school in India and completed his residency in pediatrics and fellowship in neonatology from NY.

Dr. Mishra is keenly interested in neonatal nutrition and has led multiple teams and activities on neonatal nutrition in his organization. During the covid pandemic in 2022, his team completed a multi-site prospective trial on a neonatal feeding readiness tool called the SMART Tool and presented the initial results at the Illinois Chapter of the AAP conference. In addition, he has developed an online calculator for neonatal nutrition to assimilate the macronutrient and micronutrient intake using enteral and parenteral nutrition.
