Rina Patel PharmD, BCNSP, FASPEN

Rina Patel is a clinical pharmacy specialist in critical care and nutrition support at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, where she has served in this role since 2010. Rina received her doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Houston College of Pharmacy and completed her PGY1 training at the Michael E DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center and PGY2 in critical care / nutrition support at MD Anderson. She is an active member of ASPEN and her local chapter, Texas Gulf Coast Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, for which she served on the board for more than 5 years. She has served on various ASPEN committees and is currently on the Program Planning Committee. Rina also authored the Parenteral Nutrition Formulations chapter in the most recent edition of the ASPEN Adult Nutrition Support Core Curriculum, which she is currently working on updating.
