Andrea obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Dietetic from “The” Ohio State University and is currently working on her Master’s degree in Dietetics at Oklahoma State University (the other OSU). She has worked as a Pediatric Dietitian at the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital for over 20 years and is a Board-Certified Specialist in Pediatric Critical Care Nutrition. Andrea primarily works with the neonatal population, pediatric liver transplant and pediatric intestinal failure/transplant populations. She is active in ASPEN as the RD Co-Chair of the Pediatric Intestinal Failure Work Group and Vice Chair of the Membership and Engagement committee. Andrea received the Recognized Neonatal Dietitian award in 2023 from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. When she is not working, she enjoys spending her time at her daughter’s swim meets or her son’s wrestling matches and enjoys riding with her virtual friends “on the bike that goes nowhere”.
