Dr. Arnethea Sutton is an assistant professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences at Virginia Commonwealth University and a member of the VCU Massey Cancer Center. She has expertise in cancer disparities and cancer survivorship. Her work, funded by a K99/R00 from the National Cancer Institute, focuses on identifying factors such as psychosocial stress, social determinants of health, and coping, that contribute to racial disparities in cardiovascular toxicities amongst breast cancer survivors. She currently serves as the Chair of the Cancer Health Dispaities Special Interest Group of the American Society of Preventive Oncology and she is a member of the Massey Cancer Center DEI Guidance Committee.
