Dr. Berkeley Limketkai is an Associate Clinical Professor and Director of Clinical Research at the Center for Inflammatory Bowel Diseases at the UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Limketkai earned his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati, thereafter pursuing his medicine residency, gastroenterology fellowship, advanced IBD fellowship, and PhD education at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Limketkai's clinical and research interests have primarily centered around IBD and nutrition. His doctoral dissertation evaluated the role of vitamin D in IBD pathogenesis, and his laboratory at UCLA currently has multiple epidemiologic, observational, and intervention studies investigating malnutrition and diets among patients with IBD.
