Brittney Patterson, MS, RD-AP, CNSC graduated from San Jose State University in 2013 with her BS in Nutritional Science where she later returned to complete her MS in Nutritional Science in 2016. Since 2015, she has worked at Stanford Health Care in a variety of patient populations including liver transplant, medical floor, surgical ICU, neurology ICU, neurosurgery ICU, and most recently the medical ICU. No matter what population she is working with, she strives to provide compassionate, innovative care. As an Epic Super User, Brittney has been able to combine her passion for technology and dietetics to create efficient and impactful workflows that elevates the RD role within the healthcare system. In 2021, she was awarded the “Excellence in Clinical Dietetics” by the California Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Most recently, Brittney received the 2023 Integrated Strategic Plan Star Award at Stanford Health Care for her work using the EHR to ensure safe enteral feeding practices in the ICU.
