Charles McKay MD, FACMT

Dr. McKay practices medical toxicology at Hartford Hospital and the Universityof Connecticut School of Medicine, where he is an associate professor of Emergency Medicine. He is board certified in Medical Toxicology, Emergency Medicine, and Internal Medicine. He is the Associate Medical Director of the Connecticut Poison Control Center and director of the Toxicology Fellowship at UConn. He runs a toxicology consult service at Hartford Hospital and is the Medical Director of Occupational Health Services for Hartford Hospital and the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, evaluating questions of workplace safety and toxic exposure for 8,000 employees. Dr. McKay is a member of the ACMT Board of Directors and is active in the Practice Committee. He is the Region 1 contact for the ACMT/ATSDR network and currently the national ACMT/ATSDR network director.
