Chet Morrison MD, FACS, FCCM

Dr Chet A Morrison, is the Trauma Medical Director for the Washington Hospital System and has worked in this role since January of 2024, prior to this he was an Associate Professor of Surgery at the Central Michigan University School of Medicine and Trauma Medical Director for St Mary’s Ascension Hospital in Saginaw Michigan. He is board certified in Surgery and Surgical Critical Care Dr. Morrison received his BA from Cornell University in 1987; he received his MD from George Washington University in 1991 and his surgical training with the Army at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center. He completed fellowship training at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. He has extensive experience in the United States Army Medical Corps, deploying Colombia and Iraq as a military trauma surgeon.Dr. Morrison’s primary interests lie in medical education, Sepsis and Nutritional care in the trauma patient.
