Colleen Tewksbury is the Bariatric Program Manager for the University of Pennsylvania Health System and a Senior Research Investigator for University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Tewksbury has worked in weight management since 2011, including in behavioral weight loss research and bariatric surgery. She has served in various positions for PA Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Philadelphia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, The Obesity Society, and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Currently, she serves as an Academy Spokesperson. Her areas of research interest are in tertiary prevention and treatment services for severe adult obesity treatment, including bariatric surgery.
