David Thomas, MD, CMD is Professor of Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine at Saint Louis University. He has been elected Fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American Geriatrics Society, and the Gerontological Society of America. Dr. Thomas currently serves as Associate Editor for the Journal of the American Medical Directors Association. He has been honored as a John A. Hartford Faculty Fellow Award in Geriatrics and is listed in The Best Doctors in America. He has authored over 170 publications and 47 books or book chapters. Dr. Thomas is co-editor of Geriatric Nutrition, a resource for nutritional management.
