Devon Pace is a general surgery resident at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He grew up in northern Illinois and received his Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Medicine and Neuroscience from Augustana College. He went on to complete his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He is currently serving as the inaugural clinical research fellow at Nemours Children’s Hospital-Delaware for the Department of General Pediatric Surgery where he is finishing 2 years of dedicated research and has focused on clinical outcomes and healthcare quality and safety research. He is also finishing his Master of Public Health degree at the Jefferson College of Population Health where his capstone addresses the social disparities of pediatric traumatic injuries during the COVID-19 pandemic. He anticipates pursuing a career in pediatric transplant surgery following the completion of his general surgery residency.
