Emily Brown Richards has been a clinical dietitian for seven and a half years. As a clinician, her focus has been ICU nutrition. In addition to her role as a clinician, she was the Technology Lead Dietitian for UNC Healthcare in Chapel Hill, NC for two years. In that role, she spearheaded process and quality improvement projects related to the EHR (Epic @ UNC). After a move to Brooklyn, NY and joining the clinical staff at NewYork Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, Emily was a part of the Epic Build Team for the NewYork Presbyterian Hospital System. She has been a member of the ASPEN Informatics Committee since January 2018. Currently, Emily is taking time away from clinical responsibilities to focus on raising her almost-2-year-old son Nathan.
