Emily Diana is a clinical relief dietitian for Legacy Health Systems. She received her B.S. in human nutrition from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. During her studies, Emily worked as a study intervention coach for the Lifestyle Intervention for Ovarian Cancer Enhanced Survival clinical trial, working one-on-one with ovarian cancer survivors. Emily completed her masters and dietetic internship at the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon in June 2021. With the help of Monica Buettner and Julie McGuire, Emily's master's research examined the effects of blenderized enteral formula and bowel function for ECMO patients in the neurotrauma intensive care unit. Since graduating, Emily has supported the critical care and general medicine units and is passionate about optimizing nutrition support for patients with critical illness.
