Federika Garcia, MS, RDN, LDN, CNSC, CSO, is a Clinical Nutrition Manager at the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, specializing in oncology nutrition and nutrition support for complex cases, including GI and head & neck cancers. She supervises a team of dietitians across outpatient oncology centers and the stem cell transplant unit, focusing on optimizing nutritional interventions for high-risk patients. Federika has expertise in home nutrition support, managing malnutrition, malabsorption, and treatment-related GI complications. She is actively involved in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary collaborations to enhance patient outcomes. As Chair-Elect of the Oncology Section at ASPEN, she is committed to advancing oncology nutrition through education, clinical initiatives, and evidence-based practice, equipping clinicians with the knowledge to improve patient care in challenging oncology scenarios.
