Gabriela Gardner is a registered dietitian with over ten years of experience specializing in gastroenterology and hepatology. She completed her professional science master's degree at the University of Arizona and has an advanced practitioner certification in clinical nutrition from the Academy. She is a board-certified nutrition support clinician and has a certificate of training in integrative and functional nutrition. Gabriela is a Registered Dietitian Manager with the department of Internal Medicine under the division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition for the University of Texas, McGovern Medical School in Houston, Texas. Professionally, Gabriela has held many leadership roles at local and national levels. She was a board member of the Houston Area Dietetic Association and the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN). Co-author of the book "The Low FODMAP Diet for Beginners" and has been published in the peer-reviewed journal Nutrition in Clinical Practice. She has presented her work at local and national conferences, including Digestive Disease Week, the American College of Gastroenterology Conference, and ASPEN Nutrition & Science Conferences. Throughout her career, Gabriela has provided mentorship to dietetic students, gastroenterology fellows, and peers.
