Gerri Keller, MEd, RD, LD, CNSC obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics from Bowling Green State University and her Masters degree in Nutrition Education from the University of Cincinnati. Gerri has dedicated her career to pediatric nutrition at Akron Children's Hospital in Ohio. She works with critically ill neonates with heart defects in the PICU and NICU. Gerri helped develop and implement the outpatient swallowing and feeding program at ACH. Over the past 3 years she has collaborated with the heart center, speech therapy and lactation to implement a cardiac feeding team for neonates with single ventricle physiology. The goal is to support the caregiver and achieve optimal growth and feeding skill development throughout the first years of life.
