Each presentation will provide background information followed by practical nutrition interventions.

Learning Objectives:

Describe postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) and recognize the nutritional challenges associated with it
Provide the evidence that underlies the use of nutritional therapies in patients with inflammatory bowel diseases
Optimize response of the pancreatic insufficient patient to pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy (PERT)
Outline strategies for optimizing nutrition therapy in Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EOE)
Recognize the causes and consequences of bile acid malabsorption
Determine when to enlist diet and fluid recommendations for the patient with high ostomy output and strategically select and dose medications to enhance absorption and decrease stool volume
