Heather League MBA

Heather League is Senior Tax Analyst at Gilmore & Bell, P.C., a law firm specializing in tax-exempt bond financings. She has been married to Theron for 20 years, and they parent four wonderful children. They have had the privilege and challenge of being Tate’s parents and caregivers for nine years. The Leagues are passionate about fulfilling the promise they made years ago to give Tate his best chance. This promise drives every decision that is made on Tate’s behalf, whether medical, educational or recreational. Heather uses her analytical and administrative skills to coordinate and sustain a network that supports Tate's complex needs, affording him the opportunity to do things many never thought possible. The League family loves to travel, and they have that privilege through a combination of Heather's advocacy and administrative efforts, partnership with their extensive medical team in Kansas City (notably Tate’s aunt/private nurse, Shannon), and other incredible physicians around the world who share their vision. Tate has been fully optimized on TPN for 4 years and in that time has visited many places including, but not limited to, multi-week trips to Alaska, Italy, Paris, and London. Their next international trip is later this month.
