Irmalis Flores Gonzalez, MS, RDN, LD is a bilingual Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with more than 10 years of experience. Irmalis has a background in public health and clinical nutrition. As a level IV NICU dietitian, Irmalis provides individualized nutrition recommendations for vulnerable and medically complex neonates and infants. She also precepts dietetic interns, medical residents, neonatology fellows, and other health care professionals. Irmalis have developed and implemented protocols and nutrition guidelines in the clinical setting. She provides infant formulas education during the onboarding process at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. She received her Bachelor of Education degree in Family Ecology- Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus, completed her Dietetic Internship at Puerto Rico Department of Health, and a master’s in Clinical Nutrition at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She is a member of the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition and has been involved at the local chapter of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
