Jacqueline Keller has worked as a Dietitian for more than 30 years specializing in the nutritional care and growth of preterm infants for more than 20 years. Jacqueline is a Principal Dietitian in the NICU at UC San Diego Health, California. She is passionate about encouraging process improvements and evidence based practice to optimize nutrient delivery and preterm infant growth. She was an integral leader in the development and licensure of two centralized Infant Feeding Preparation rooms. Over the course of her career, Jacqueline has contributed to infant and pediatric nutrition education, participated as the State Networker for the Pediatric Nutrition Practice Group, presented at Nutrition conferences, co-authored Enteral Nutrition chapters, and more recently developed and published the Keller Growth Velocity Tables for Preterm Infants. Jacqueline received her B.S. in Education from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio, and her M.S. in Nutrition from Texas Woman’s University. Jacqueline completed her Dietetic Internship at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, and completed a High Risk Infant and Pediatric Nutrition Fellowship at Indiana University Medical Center, Riley Hospital for Children, where she worked for 12 years.
