Jan Powers is the Director for Nursing Research and EBP at Parkview Health System. This role includes accountability for advancing nursing professional practice and research development for 14 hospital systems. Dr. Powers is also an adjunct professor at Indiana University School of Nursing. She has been a nurse for 39 years in various roles related to Critical Care and Trauma and has published over 100 journal articles and book chapters and has given numerous presentations nationally and internationally on a variety of critical care and nursing topics.
