Jana K. Ponce PhD, RD

Dr. Jana Ponce is a Registered Dietitian and and Assistant professor in the Medical Nutrition Education Division of the College of Allied Health Professions at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Her background is in clinical nutrition and has vast experience working with malnourished patients in outpatient oncology and adult critical care populations during her time as a practitioner. She completed her PhD at UNMC in May of 2021 and now has a research agenda focused on the impact of nutrition interventions in improving clinical outcomes and inflammation in chronic disease.
