| Janet Rodriguez BSN, RN, CDCES is a Registered Nurse, certified diabetes care and education specialist, and serves as the primary research coordinator for diabetes technology studies with over one-decade of experience in diabetes technologies. She leads the Diabetes Technology Clinical and Clinical Research Program at the Diabetes & Endocrinology Center at the University of South Florida. She is a proud member of the American Diabetes Association’s (ADA) Safe at School (SAS) Working Group and long-time faculty member for the annual Children with Diabetes Friends for Life Orlando Conference. She serves as medical staff for several Florida Diabetes Camps annually. In concert with the ADA SAS team, she developed a comprehensive Diabetes Medical Management Plan and supporting educational material that serve as a national resource for schools and after school programs caring for children living with diabetes.
