Jesmond Dalli is a Professor in Molecular Pharmacology at the Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry and Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). He is also the director of the Lipid Mediator Unit at QMUL. Jesmond read for and completed a PhD at QMUL with Prof. Mauro Perretti. He subsequently moved to work with Prof. Charles N. Serhan’s at Harvard Medical School and the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. In 2015 he moved to QMUL. His research efforts are directed at the mechanisms activated by pro-resolving mediators in the maintenance of homeostasis, resolution of inflammation, as well as in tissue repair and regeneration. His has published to >180 peer reviewed publication. He also holds several patents, of which a number are licensed for clinical development. Jesmond has received several prizes and recognitions including the Eicosanoid Research Foundation Young Investigator award and Fellowship to the Royal Society of Biology.
