Jessica Allen PhD

Jessica is a parent and caregiver of a child with Short Bowel Syndrome/Intestinal Failure due to Necrotizing Enterocolitis. She is a Gerontologist by training, an Associate Professor of Psychology at Birmingham-Southern College, and a former Pediatric Pulmonary Center family leadership trainee and current LEND family leadership trainee at the University of Alabama-Birmingham. Jessica is a social scientist/researcher and founding member of thegutsyperspective.
