Julianne Harcombe is a nutrition support clinical pharmacist for St. Joseph's Hospital and St. Joseph's Children's Hospital in Tampa, Florida. She has a collaborative agreement with physicians to manage parenteral nutrition, fluid and electrolytes on consulted adult, pediatric and neonatal patients.
Julianne obtained her BCNSP in 2010 and recertified in 2017. She is a preceptor for the PGY1 residency program and teaches seven PGY1 residents and one PGY2 pediatric resident per year.
In 2019, they transitioned their 13 hospital based health care system to a paperless order entry system for ordering parenteral nutrition prescriptions, which provides clinical guardrails and interfaces with Cerner and CAPS.
