Kathleen Gura, PharmD, is the manager for Pharmacy Research and a member of the Clinical Nutrition Service in the Division of GI/Nutrition at Boston Children's Hospital. She is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and a member in the Division of Nutrition at Harvard Medical School. She serves as an adjunct member of the faculty at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Northeastern University. Certified as a Nutritional Support Pharmacist, Dr. Gura has written more than 200 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters on topics such as neonatal nutrition, intestinal failure-associated liver disease, and compounding of parenteral nutrition. She has also lectured nationally and internationally and from 2010-2018 worked with BU School of Medicine in establishing clinical nutrition services at Bach Mai Hospital in Viet Nam. She currently serves as ASPEN's president. Kathy is a former associate editor for JPEN and is a former member of the FDA’s Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee.
