Kathleen Gura PharmD, is the manager for Pharmacy Research and a member of the Clinical Nutrition Service in the Division of GI/Nutrition at Boston Children's Hospital. She is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and a member in the Division of Nutrition at Harvard Medical School. She serves as an adjunct member of the faculty at MCPHS University and Northeastern University. Certified as a Nutritional Support Pharmacist, Dr. Gura has written more than 200 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters on topics such as neonatal nutrition, intestinal failure associated liver disease and compounding of parenteral nutrition. She has also lectured nationally and internationally and from 2010-2018 worked with BU School of Medicine in establishing clinical nutrition services at Bach Mai Hospital in Viet Nam. She currently serves as ASPEN's president-elect. Kathy is a former associate editor for JPEN and is currently a member of the FDA’s Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee.
