Kathleen Tushar RN, BSN

Kathi Tushar a Registered Nurse working in the Digestive Disease Institute at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. At the Cleveland Clinic, Kathi is a part of a team of 5 RNs and one CNS that comprise Nutrition Support Team (NST) Nursing. As a part of the NST nursing team, she cares for patients requiring both enteral and parenteral nutrition. Kathi provides care to adult patients at the Main Campus of the Cleveland Clinic as well as nine of the regional hospitals in Ohio in all inpatient areas with technology guided bedside placement of small bowel feeding tubes. Kathi’s role also allows her to provide care for patients receiving parenteral nutrition at the Main Campus by evaluating patients for safe discharge to home with parenteral nutrition and then providing education related to their central line. Kathi is passionate about teaching both patients and fellow caregivers. She specializes in education related to parenteral access devices.
