Kathleen Tushar RN, BSN

Kathi Tushar is a Registered Nurse working in the Digestive Disease Institute at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Kathi is a valued member of the Nutrition Support Team, she collaborates with 5 RNs and one Clinical Nurse Specialist to deliver expert care to adult patients who require enteral nutrition access, and those dependent on parenteral nutrition support. Kathi’s expertise in safe nasoenteric tube placement using a technology guided enteral access system, spans from Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus to eight of the regional inpatient hospitals in Ohio. Kathi renders care to patients receiving parenteral nutrition at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. She uses her expertise to evaluate patients for safe discharge to home with parenteral nutrition. She prepares patients for successful TPN administration in the home setting by providing expert education and coaching with particular attention to central line management.
