Laura Kao is a clinical dietitian for adult inpatients on the neurology floor and intensive care units at Stanford Healthcare in Palo Alto, CA. She specializes in providing medical nutrition therapy to patients recovering from strokes or traumatic brain injuries, as well as those living with neuromuscular diseases such as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Myasthenia Gravis, and Guillain-Barré syndrome, along with epilepsy and brain tumors.

Laura is dedicated to understanding her patients’ underlying medical conditions and tailors her recommendations to suit their individual needs.
