Lauren Probstfeld MS, RD, CNSC is a seasoned registered dietitian with many years of experience as a nutrition support clinician across various acute care settings. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition degree from Texas A&M University and furthered her education by earning a Masters of Nutrition degree from Texas Woman’s University. Presently, Lauren holds the position of Clinical Nutrition Manager at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX, overseeing nutritional care initiatives and programs. Previously, Lauren dedicated multiple years as the facility’s medical ICU dietitian, contributing significantly to patient care within the intensive care unit. Despite her current role, she remains an active member of her facility's nutrition support team, further showcasing her commitment to nutritional care of complex patients. On a professional level, Lauren has been actively involved in volunteer roles, notably serving as the Past Chair of Dietitians in Nutrition Support in 2024.
