Leslie Murray RD, LDN, CNSC

Leslie is a RD / CNSC with over 20 years' experience in acute and critical care nutrition. She is currently practicing in the Surgical Trauma ICU and is part of the Nutrition Support Team at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC. Throughout her career at Duke, Leslie has been instrumental in driving practice change including peri-op TPN provision and peri-op enteral nutrition protocol. More recently, she has led an obesity acute care nutrition protocol because of hospital leadership's interest in finding an effective weight loss plan due to the growing trend of obesity as a barrier to discharge. Leslie is passionate about improving medical nutrition therapy provision across the spectrum and enjoys educating providers as well as colleagues to promote evidence-based nutrition practices. When she is not working, you will find Leslie and her husband Keith enjoying the outdoors biking, gardening, traveling, or walking their dogs Mac and Washington.
