Lingtak-Neander Chan is a Professor of Pharmacy in the School of Pharmacy, and an Interdisciplinary Faculty of the Graduate Program in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Washington, Seattle. He was formerly a faculty member of the College of Pharmacy and College of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He received his Bachelor of Pharmacy and Toxicology degrees from Northeastern University in Boston, his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Washington, and his residency training at the University of Washington Academic Medical Center in Seattle. He is a past president (2019-2020) of ASPEN and a former associate editor of JPEN. He has published book chapters, review articles, original research papers and invited editorials, and has been an invited speaker at numerous scientific and professional conferences internationally. His research focus includes drug and micronutrient absorption kinetics, impact of bariatric surgery on drug and nutrient absorption, and antioxidant and micronutrient use in critical illness.
