Lisa Moccia is an intestinal rehabilitation and transplantation clinician with nearly 20 years of experience at Cleveland Clinic. Over her 25-year career as a registered dietitian, she has trained dietetic interns, medical students, and gastroenterology fellows in nutrition assessment and the Nutrition Focused Physical Exam. She is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ DIGID Short Bowel Syndrome Work Group and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications on intestinal rehabilitation and transplantation. Most recently, Lisa served as a contributing editor for the revised Clinician’s Pocket Guide to the Nutritional Management of Intestinal Rehabilitation and Transplantation for Adults and Pediatrics.
