Dr. Jenny Yu grew up in New Jersey and graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University with Phi Beta Kappa and a degree in Cell Biology. She matriculated from Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 2016, completing the BA/MD program. She is now a third-year general surgery resident at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. During residency, she spent three years of dedicated research time at Boston Children's Hospital under the mentorship of Dr. Mark Puder studying angiogenesis and lung development, as well as intestinal failure-associated liver disease.
