Madeleine Hallum, MSHS, RDN, CSG, LDN, is a Nutrition Clinical Coordinator and Registered Dietitian at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) in Nashville, TN. She completed her dietetic internship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and holds a master’s degree in human nutrition and health sciences from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL. Madeleine is Board Certified as a Specialist in Gerontological Nutrition.
As the lead dietitian for the heart transplant team at Vanderbilt, she specializes in frailty testing and grip strength training. Outside of her clinical role, Madeleine is an accomplished painter with a permanent exhibit on the 7th floor of VUMC. She is also a mother of two young boys and is currently writing a book on transplant nutrition.
